The CE act should seek to clearly include and consider the action, regulations and acts around Critical Raw Materials. This must include the CRMA with the challenging 2030 deadlines and the NZIA with also 2030 deadlines. The proposed Green Industrial Deal (section 5) also proposes 'circular CRM' and needs to be considered.

Aviation is one of the few tech sectors where EU is leading, unlike other sectors such as AI, solar, wind energy, automotive, etc. We have to make sure that EU will remain in the leading position, both in sustainability as well as industrial competence. Therefore we should encourage competition between various EU consortium to achieve the best breakthrough technologies.
Gender balance is only possible when doing both, i.e. increasing the share of women involved in research, innovation and tech-startups AND involving the needs and perspectives of women in research, innovation and tech-startups. A prominent example has been the crash-test dummies still only mirroring the body size and shape of the average man, thereby making cars much more dangerous and lethal for anyone else.
