AMETIC considers that CSA2 should preserve a strictly technical, evidence-based and proportionate approach to cybersecurity, avoiding politically driven criteria in the designation of high-risk providers. The association highlights the importance of supplier diversification, legal certainty and harmonised EU rules to ensure resilience, competitiveness and secure digital infrastructure deployment across Europe.

From AMETIC, employers in the digital industry sector, we recognise the essential role played by the Cybersecurity Act (CSA) in shaping the cybersecurity governance and certification framework in the European Union.

From AMETIC, it is considered that the current draft would benefit from targeted improvements to enhance clarity, proportionality, and practical applicability. In particular, simplifying certain elements (such as timelines or non-essential notes not aligned with the CRA) would help avoid unnecessary complexity.

The feedback indicates that the current definitions and general provisions of the AVMSD are adequate, flexible, and compatible with the Digital Services Act (DSA). While influencer obligations are already covered under existing provisions, additional EU-wide guidance would help clarify compliance expectations and ensure consistent implementation across Member States.
