AERRL welcomes the Commissions call for on the European Research act. We are particularly sensitive to the objective of reducing fragmentation. In the rail sector, fragmentation is a scourge that we are fighting in order to achieve the simplification and harmonisation of standards and procedures at European level. This is essential in order to finally build the single rail market.
The Association of European Rail Rolling Stock Lessors (AERRL) welcomes the Commission's call for evidence on military mobility. This act is vital for the security of the EU, defending the 4 freedoms of the Union and meeting our net zero initiatives.
AERRL, the association representing European Railway Rolling Stock Lessors, welcomes this evaluation aimed at measuring the progress made in achieving CEF 2s objectives and assessing whether the rules are working as intended.
AERRL and ALLRAIL support the European Commissions initiative to revise Regulation (EU) 2016/796 on the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA). This revision represents a key opportunity to further strengthen the Single European Railway Area, accelerate market opening, and enhance the competitiveness, sustainability and innovation capacity of the European rail sector.
