We are facing a climate emergency. As the EU Foreign Affairs Council of ministers said on 20 January: "Climate change is an existential threat to humanity and biodiversity across all countries and regions and requires an urgent collective response".
First of all, I would like to point out THERE IS NO EUROPEAN CLIMATE. There is only one planet ( https://medium.com/@michael.rada/the-single-use-planet-ea4c56419c89 ). Concentrating or limiting the activity related to climate protection on a single location is not effective and efficient.
In order to meet the challenges of global warming and to ensure the EU has a leading role in achieving a climate-neutral economy, a comprehensive long-term strategy is needed in the EU as a whole and in all MS. This can only succeed if clear goals, limits and criteria are set at an EU level and a MS level. The Climate Law must provide clear targets, milestones and trajectories for the EU and for the MS.

After the fires that have burned the forests all around the world seems incredible that still we want to continue using trees (biomass) as if they were fuel. The trees provide oxigen while they sequester CO2, cutting them for energy is like going back to primitive times when there was no choice for other energy sources.
APEP explicitly supports the aim to limit global warming to 2°Celsius, especially against the background that a major part of the world potash production is used for the cultivation of agricultural crops. Delivering sustainable heating and cooling solutions to ever-growing cities is fundamental to achieve Europe’s climate neutrality ambitions.
1. Legal frameworks that allow diverse technological solutions To achieve our common goal of energy transition, we must choose a road that is open to different technological solutions and sources of energy. At the pace technological progress currently is developing, we are convinced that new options will arise in the near future, which is why regulations should leave room for diversified technological solutions.

To become climate neutral, we MUST tax more activities that produce CO2, encourage CO2 neutral and support CO2 absorbing ones. How could it be done? Well, EU ETS is good example. Let's scale it to all economic activities. At the same time, reduce VAT for repair and etc. and give a big financial boost to activities that absorb CO2 such as tree planting.

It does not seem credible to me. Of course, we need to “do anything at the heart”, but with the presence of a man and power, the temperature to be lowered is a nonsensical point of view. The world has no thermostat button! This leads to misguided decisions such as biomass. Solving the problem is, in fact, more in terms of location of the economies.

Immigration and climate governance can only be seen in the EU. As the science with studies itself does not show 1, but there is plenty of debate about what is at stake, I think it is straightforward to apply for strong policy. However, do the science leave it to a calm search. For as long as scientists are still not responsible for a big climate change, it is clear that policies are already in place.
