What they argued

Amending certain Directives as regards the further development of capital market integration and supervision within the Unionfiled 5 Jun 2025PDFsource

We strongly welcome the initiative to further deepen the European capital market with the Savings and Investment Union. The need to qualify European savers in capital market investors is undisputed. The EU must take into account and involve advisory companies as necessary partners. Without their engagement in direct contact with customers, the transformation process will not succeed.

Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP)filed 2 Apr 2026PDFsource

For a more detailed explanation of the considerations set out below, please refer to the attached position paper. VOTUM welcomes the European Commissions decision to review the PEPP framework in light of its very limited market uptake. The experience of recent years has shown clearly that, in its current form, the PEPP has not developed into a viable market product.
