What they argued

Affordable housing Actfiled 31 Mar 2026PDFsource

As Germanys leading residential real estate company, Vonovia provides a home to over one million people that live in around 500.000 units. We also create livable neighborhoods, invest in climate-neutral housing stock and are an employer that offers future security. As Vonovia, we especially operate from a neighborhood approach.

Electrification Action Planfiled 7 Oct 2025source

For residential buildings, cost-effective generation (and intermediate storage) of distributed (solar) electricity must be ensured. In particular, in the case of installations up to 100kWp, support or direct economic marketing must be guaranteed. In addition, it must also be economically possible to market flexibilities for smaller generation units below 100kWp or pools thereof.

Heating and cooling strategyfiled 9 Oct 2025PDFsource

For residential buildings, a consistent implementation of district heating/cooling at competitive costs with district heating/cooling partners must be implemented where possible. In all other areas, heat/cooling must be electrified (e.g. efficient heat pump) and supported by efficient decentralised (solar) electricity generation.
