Please see attachment for Vianode's full position paper. Vianode welcomes the opportunity to give feedback on the Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA). Overall, Vianode supports the implementation of Unionorigin requirements as a necessary policy tool to ensure European security and competitiveness.
We refer to the invitation to provide input on the European Commission's proposal for a new regulation on the framework for critical raw materials, the Critical Raw Materials Act, as well as the meeting on 15 May 2023. We appreciate the opportunity to submit our proposed amendments in writing on the regulation.
With reference to the public consultation, Vianode welcomes the opportunity to give feedback to the European Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA). Vianode has 3 proposals: 1. Vianode acknowledges that the main aim of the CRMA is to reduce supply risk for critical raw materials in Europe. This can also be achieved by introducing direct substitutes to the critical raw materials list.
