Opinion of the Verband der deutschen Binnenfischerei und Aquaculture e.V. (Association of German Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture): German inland fishing and aquaculture generally support the objective of making water management more efficient and resilient through digital technologies. An improved data base can help to objectiveise water management decisions and use water resources in a more sustainable way.
