Vaccines Europe (VE) strongly supports the EFPIA submission. Additionally in this response, VE would like to emphasize the specific needs for vaccine innovation in Europe. Innovation in prophylactic vaccines has never been more critical.
VE welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the evaluation of the Regulation 2022/2371. In our response, we focus on two points related to 1/Reporting on prevention preparedness and response planning and 2/Joint procurement of medical countermeasures.
