As a young woman researcher and Assistant Professor, I often reflect on the topics that arise when we discuss women in science. First, I believe we must educate ourselves about our own biases, especially those of us involved in decision-making processes, though not exclusively.
I have not investigated this issue but would like to confirm that it is crucial to continue working on it. Accessibility for people with disabilities is also a very important area where much can be improved. It is up to us to lead by example in all areas.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am wiss. Employed at a university in Germany. After my BA study in Türkiye, I made my Master’s and PhD in Germany. My partner and family of origin still live in Türkiye. As dual nationals of Germany and Türkiye, I have two home countries, which I love. Unfortunately, the current legal situation (no mobility) does not allow me to cope with this situation.
