At the same time, we see a need for more ambition and clearer safeguards to ensure that FP10 can deliver on its goals.
Universities of the Netherlands (UNL) supports the ERA Act as a chance to reduce fragmentation and promote the fifth freedom: free movement of researchers, knowledge, and technology. The Act should combine competitiveness with academic freedom, mobility, and respect for national autonomy. 1. Investment in Research and Innovation: The 3% GDP target for R&I is essential.
