We welcome the European Commission’s recommendation to establish a common format for listing in the register of producers and for reporting data pursuant to Article 44 of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste. A common, digital and automated process-oriented framework is essential to reduce regulatory fragmentation and ease the administrative burden for businesses operating in the Single Market.
