UFC-Que Choisir fully agrees with the problem that this initiative aims to address. For consumers to embrace the transition, the availability of battery electric vehicles on the second-hand market is crucial. In France, 75 % of consumers buy their cars on the second-hand market. They are excluded from the new market (regardless of the engine sought) and are highly dependent on the second hand market.

The transport sector is responsible for more than 30 % of domestic greenhouse gas emissions in France. For more than a decade, the development of multimodal information and ticketing services has been presented as a solution to promote less carbon travel. The train is one of the central links in the emergence of decarbonised service mobility, in particular by replacing air travel across borders.

We would like to express serious concern about the proposal to exempt companies with less than 750 employees from the documentation requirements of Article 30 GDPR and to limit the exceptions to processing that is “likely to result in a high risk” to the rights and freedoms of data subjects.
