Our contribution addresses a critical "blind spot" in current European aviation policy: the data gap regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
UAP Coalition Netherlands welcomes the Commissions initiative to strengthen the EUs ecosystem for advanced materials. Representing aviation and security professionals who have encountered Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), we submit that true strategic autonomy requires the study of "frontier" materials, including those potentially displayed by anomalous aerospace occurrences.
This feedback, submitted by UAP Coalition Netherlands and co-signed by 24 scientists, researchers, and organizations, highlights stigma as a systemic barrier to the objectives of the European Research Area (ERA) Act.
