Twilio welcomes the opportunity to provide its feedback on the European Commissions White Paper entitled How to master Europe's digital infrastructure needs?. We consider ourselves a key contributor to the EUs Single Market, providing electronic communications and digital services in nearly all EU Member States.
Twilio strongly supports the Commissions proposal for a European Business Wallet (EBW). As a regulated telecom operator, Twilio experience's first-hand the friction caused by fragmented, manual compliance processes across Member States, particularly regarding fraud prevention (KYC/KYBC) and regulatory reporting.
