Transdev considers that the Right to Stay Strategy must recognise that access to opportunities (not just their existence) is essential for regional vitality. In many rural and peripheral areas, limited mobility remains a key barrier to jobs, services and social inclusion. Ensuring reliable and well-connected mobility is therefore a prerequisite for making the Right to Stay effective.

Transdev welcomes the European Commissions intention to stimulate the uptake of clean corporate vehicles and fully supports the climate and industrial objectives of the European Green Deal. We endorse the ambition to accelerate the decarbonisation of road transport, while ensuring a just and effective transition for all actors involved.

Transdev commends the European Commissions initiative for consultation on the Connecting Europe Facility. We recognise the pivotal role that the CEF plays in financing transport infrastructure, particularly in the expansion of the Trans-European Transport Network.

Transdev welcomes the Commissions initiative to ensure that passengers are granted their rights when journeys involve multiple railway undertakings and tickets are purchased as part of a single transaction via a ticketing platform. Electronic ticket sales and route planning have made rail travel more accessible for many consumers.
