We see a strong need to simplify the rules for organic production, without watering down the rules, or to change the principles of organic production.

Swedish Eggs are pleased for the opportunity to comment on how Regulation (EU) 2018/848 can be amended and simplified. We see a great need and opportunity to simplify the rules for organic production, without watering down the rules, or changing the principles of organic production. Organic rules are perceived as difficult to understand, expensive to apply and very detailed.
