Summary For Sweden and the EU, it is of utmost importance that there is the possibility to provide operating aid to our airports. The General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER) is an effective basis for it, but the forms of aid need to be modernised and developed. In view of increased safety and availability requirements, smaller airports need a higher limit on when operating aid may be granted.
