Startup Portugal is a Portuguese nonprofit organisation holding the Statute of Public Utility, conferred by Decree-Law No. 33/2019 of 4 March, whose mission is to carry out activities of public interest aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, in close connection with public and private entities operating within the national entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Startup Portugal welcomes the European Commission’s initiative to review the regulatory framework for venture capital and growth capital funds, recognising in this reform a strategic opportunity to strengthen the competitiveness of the European innovation ecosystem.
