Sport is a vital part of European cultural identity, social cohesion, and economic life.
The Sports Rights Owners Coalition (SROC) welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback to the Call for Evidence on Fighting Online Fraud. As a coalition representing 55 of the worlds biggest sports organisers, we wish to highlight an oft-ignored avenue of online fraud, online audiovisual piracy, and what we believe the Commission must do to help address it.
