REEs are, among other, important for the production of permanent magnets, which are crucial components in wind turbines, EV motors, and other technologies needed to reach the EU climate targets.

Today, approximately 98% of Europes demand for Rare Earth Elements (REE) is supplied by non-EU/EEA countries, and we would like to highlight that there is significant potential for REE mining in Europe today.
