What they argued
In PIIT's opinion the level of ambition of the Digital Networks Act is insufficient. In the draft, we see few solutions that would genuinely address the problems raised for years by market participants and described in the reports of M. Draghi and E. Letta, particularly as regards reducing regulatory burdens and creating real incentives to increase infrastructure investment and deploy the latest technologies.
PIIT welcomes the initiative on the Digital Networks Act (DNA). We believe that the current rules for the electronic communication sector do not fully support the goal of building European effective and resilient networks that enhance our digital sovereignty.
