AI should be understood not only as a tool for increasing productivity, but as a component of hybrid cognitive ecosystems in which human creativity, collective intelligence and artificial intelligence interact. In the Cultural and Creative Sectors, its value lies especially in supporting co-design, access to knowledge, participation and more informed decision-making, while preserving human agency and responsibility.

It's important to simplify procedures: EOTA approach is to be used for all innovative products while a specific path for product standards related with CPR should be funded in order to accelerate standardization at CEN level.

The HOME2 consortium, led by Politecnico di Milano, brings together actors representing European students, universities, NGOs, and the private rented sector. When talking about preparedness and adaptation it is important to maintain a territorial and place-based approach, empowering local actors - who best know their context - to take action. I strongly oppose the White Paper’s proposal to allow for a more extensive use of dual-use technologies within Horizon Europe funds and to remove restrictions on dual-use technologies within the Framework Programmes. Article 11 of the Italian Constitution provides: ‘Italy repeats war as a means of undermining the freedom of other peoples and as a means of settling international disputes’.

This contribution addresses the suitability of current targets and monitoring frameworks within the EUs Digital Decade, emphasizing that while the Programme offers a robust strategic vision, its capacity to guide evidence-based policymaking depends on addressing gaps in sectoral completeness, methodological representativeness, and conceptual clarity.

We are professors of chemistry at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), currently carrying out research on ocean-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and the enhancement of the oceans alkalinity, to contrast climate change and the acidification of seawater due the increase of atmospheric CO2 levels.
