Panasonic Europe BV welcomes the opportunity to comment on the European Commission's proposal for an Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA), presented on 4 March 2026. As a global technology provider with a substantial European industrial presence, Panasonic supports the IAA's objective of accelerating the shift away from fossil fuels toward energy-efficient and clean technologies.

Panasonic greatly appreciates the opportunity in providing feedback on the Cybersecurity Act and NIS2 revision proposals. Panasonic endorses the European Commissions cyber resilience objectives within the proposed Cybersecurity Act (CSA2) and NIS2 Directive amendments, yet formally stipulates that immediate structural refinements are important to prevent market fragmentation and duplicative administrative burdens.

We welcome the objective of the Environmental OmnibusVIII initiative to reduce unnecessary administrative burdens and improve regulatory coherence across EU environmental legislation. With regards to the proposed amendments (COM(2025) 986) we support the repeal of the SCIP database under the Waste Framework Directive based on its limited effectiveness and significant impact on business operations.
