Netbeheer Nederland (NL) response on behalf of the Dutch DSOs to the consultation on the Heating and Cooling Strategy. The built environment, along with the business and industrial sectors, faces a major challenge in decarbonizing their heating and cooling demands.
Netbeheer Nederland (the national association of Dutch grid operators), on behalf of the Dutch DSOs, welcome the European Commission's proposal to reduce methane emissions in the energy sector. We support the European goal to reduce 58% methane emissions in the energy sector by 2030 compared to 2020.
The Association of Dutch system operators Netbeheer Nederland welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback and comments regarding the new requirements for generators regulation. Netbeheer Nederlands welcomes the long awaited amendement of the MID. However, the new article 10.6 in Annex I is not fully clear or confusing. The wording "By way of derogation from points 10.1. and 10.5" leads us to asume that a physical display on the measuring instrument is no longer mandatory if either solution a or b as described in article 10.6 is implemented.
