Compliance with the DNSH principle in the next MFF could be assessed in two simple steps. First stage: the activities are compared with two lists: an exclusion list (significant damage, no EU funding) and a eligibility list (no expected environmental impact). If an activity appears on any of these lists, it is automatically compliant or non-compliant, and the assessment stops.

These measures are not in the interests of farmers in the long term.
