The Czech Republic remains fully committed to the EUs climate objectives and to the decarbonisation of road transport. At the same time, we consider it essential that the forthcoming revision of the CO2 standards for cars and vans ensures a realistic, socially fair, and economically viable transition that maintains Europes industrial competitiveness and technological leadership.

This indicator is determined based on traffic intensity on individual roads, but data in municipalities are not available for all roads, only for the most important ones. This data cannot be monitored at the city level or individual municipalities in GUA.
