Mercator Ocean International (MOi) is a nonprofit organisation currently transforming into an intergovernmental organisation. MOi works closely with, and on behalf of, the European Commission, particularly DG DEFIS, DG RTD, DG MARE and DG INTPA. It implements flagship EU programmes such as the Copernicus Marine Service as an entrusted entity and actively supports the development of the EU Digital Twin Ocean.
