MBB Feedback on the EU Taxonomy Public Consultation 25/11/25 The Malta Business Bureau (MBB) welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on the revision of the Climate and Environment Delegated Acts linked to the EU Taxonomy framework. Overall, we support the proposed simplification measures aimed at reducing administrative burdens and improving reporting processes.

Drawing from the operational realities of Maltese biotechnology businesses, this submission highlights structural barriers that hinder innovation, competitiveness, and growth. These challenges are directly relevant to the objectives of the upcoming Biotech Act, which aims to simplify procedures, reduce time to market, and strengthen Europes global biotech leadership. The Malta Business Bureau welcomes the opportunity to be able to reply to the Call for Evidence on the Aviation Strategy. We note that since the 2015 Aviation Strategy , the global aviation industry has faced severe, compounding crises, led by the unprecedented disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic and a structural supply-chain crisis.

This position paper by the Malta Business Bureau (MBB) outlines the business community's stance on the European Business Wallet. Maltese businesses show broad support for the EBW, viewing it as a practical tool to reduce current operational inefficiencies.

While certain proposals related to the Critical Raw Materials Centre are welcomed in light of volatile markets, there are also implications that arise regarding the adverse impacts of some of the proposed measures that ought to be considered. This is especially the case with proposed measures such as the EU-Backed Matchmaking System and the EU Stockpiling of Critical Raw Materials.

The Malta Business Bureau welcomes the opportunity to contribute towards the public consultation on the Citizens Omnibus. For a stronger single market, the reduction in administrative burdens is crucial for more streamlined business operations, which can in turn benefit citizens and the interaction between both.

The Malta Business Bureau welcomes the basis of the proposed Alternative Dispute Resolution which is primarily directed to offset unnecessary court processes and time-consuming litigation, administrative burden, and costs for companies doing business online. Litigation can be stressful for companies, therefore any measures that alleviate this burden in terms of their daily operations is deemed to be beneficial.
