Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 639 consultation files tracked so far (53,766 submissions, mostly 2021–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.

Today, Europe sources more than 95 % of its rare earth elements from outside. To guarantee its own supply and the strategic autonomy of European manufacturers, MagREEsource has developed an innovative and clean technology for recycling end-of life magnets with Hungary, in order to recover a magnet powder that can be directly used for the manufacture of new magnets.

MagREEsource is a young Magnet producer whose ambition is to structure a sovereign industrial sector, anchored in the circular economy, and wants to open the first European MagFactory with a capacity of 500 tons by 2027.
We strongly support the European Commissions objective of facilitatin the shipment of waste within the European Union for the purpose of recycling and recovery. In particular, we welcome the Commissions efforts to clarify and expand the categories of waste eligible for simplified procedures under the green-list framework, as well as the introduction of harmonised criteria for waste classification.
