What they argued

Implementing rules on registering in and reporting to the register of producersfiled 24 Aug 2026source

Why will we no longer be able to supply all EU countries in the future? Is this rule particularly harsh for small traders? From our point of view, it is clear: yes. A large international trader can spread registration, advice, agency and administrative costs over millions of orders. We cannot. If there are five orders in a country, there is nothing to distribute.

The new Packaging Regulation is only good for big companies, we are losing sales to small companies because it is not worth sending small quantities of parcels abroad in the EU. We will send in 2026: 2 parcels to Finland, 3 parcels to Sweden, 4 parcels to Ireland, 2 parcels to Italy, 2 parcels to Spain and so on and so on. We now have an authorised representative for Austria, where we send around 50 packages a year.
