What they argued

Amending certain production, labelling and certification rules and certain rules on trade with third countriesfiled 13 Nov 2025source

The requirements for 100 % feed and nutrient cycles must be harmonised for livestock farming, biogas plants and fertilisers. Everything else is imprecise and, like the constant expansion of authorised products in production and processing, leads to the dilution of eco-standards, misleading and confusing consumers and loss of credibility.

Amending certain production, labelling and certification rules and certain rules on trade with third countriesfiled 13 Nov 2025source

In our view, as organic farmers, it is for the EU Organic Regulation to lay down a binding framework for organic production within the EU and for products designated as organic within the EU, but not to regulate everything in detail. The aim of simplifying the EU Organic Farming Regulation must not be unbalanced new rules.
