I operate a small handmade business in Germany and sell through an online marketplace. I send around 30 parcels a year to 5 other EU countries. My turnover from these countries is EUR x. I am expected to pay more than EUR 1000 per year for registration and authorised representatives in these countries. Because the fixed costs exceed my turnover abroad, I have stopped shipping to other EU countries.
