KickCancer is a Belgian foundation that funds paediatric cancer research, empowers patients and drives innovation to cure every child and young adult. Over the last decades, medicine development for specific childhood cancer indications, First-in-Child (FiC), has significantly stalled compared to adult anticancer medicines, even in contrast to rare types of adult cancer.
Paediatric Loncology is an area whose potential is still largely under-exploited. A genuine single market for biotechnology in the European Union would be the ideal framework for the research, treatment and ultimately cure of laughter cancer.
