As a National Promotional Institution, we believe its important that the Circular Economy Act also addresses barriers to investments. KfW is part of the Joint Initiative on Circular Economy (JICE), a partnership between the EUs largest National Promotional Banks and Institutions and the European Investment Bank aiming to provide long-term financing for projects that accelerate the transition to a circular economy.
