We welcome the forthcoming Biotech Act II as a strategic initiative to strengthen Europes biotechnology and biomanufacturing capacity, enhance industrial competitiveness, and accelerate the transition towards a circular and sustainable bioeconomy.
We welcome the opportunity to contribute evidence to the European Commissions evaluation of Directive (EU) 2019/904 on single use plastics (SUPD). We fully support the Directives objective to curb the environmental impacts of selected single use plastic productsespecially in marine litter.
SPRING the Italian Circular Bioeconomy Cluster welcomes the Advanced Materials Act, which addresses some of the main bottlenecks currently limiting EU competitiveness in strategic sectors, including excessively long approval procedures, administrative burdens, and regulatory complexity that hinder innovation.
