Instruct-ERIC is a pan-European distributed research infrastructure making high-end technologies and methods in structural biology available to users. We are part of the Life-Science RI Strategy board that has already submitted a joint response and would like to add additional examples specific for our research area.

Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 326 consultation files tracked so far (29,503 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.

What they argued
Instruct-ERIC strongly welcomes the EUs initiative of the action plan for women in research, innovation and startups. Women still face significant challenges and barriers in the research sector that make it an unwelcoming and sometimes actively adverse environment to work in. The EC can positively support a change towards better inclusion of women in R&I through various mechanisms.
