The industry association personal care and laundry detergents e.V. For manufacturers of washing, care and cleaning products, it is particularly important to reduce duplicative regulations and unnecessary administrative burdens to ensure predictability and stable supply.

IKW statement on the revision of the Cosmetic Products Regulation (CPR) The German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association (IKW) represents companies that manufacture or distribute beauty care products in Germany. IKW has over 440 member companies with a total annual turnover of 34.6 billion euros. In addition to larger, globally active companies, the vast majority of member companies are SMEs.
IKW represents the German cosmetics industry. The 450 members are small and medium-sized, but also international companies. IKW members cover approx. 90% of the German market. We welcome the steps taken by the EU Commission towards more sustainability.
The manufacturers of household detergents (“detergents”) represented in the German Association of Household Detergents (IKW) welcome the European Commission’s initiative to simplify and digitise labelling rules.
