IFPI represents the recording industry worldwide, with a membership comprising of some 8,000 record companies in 70 countries and affiliated industry organisations in 70 countries. We appreciate the European Commissions work to tackle online piracy which continues to harm the European creative industries as well as consumers, and welcome the opportunity to comment on the Recommendation.
