Without significant and rapid change, Europe will be unable to deliver the best-in-class networks on which its competitiveness, security and resilience aspirations depend.

The European members of the GSMA welcome the publication of the European Commissions Call for Evidence on the Digital Networks Act (DNA). The GSMA, representing mobile operators and the wider ecosystem, welcomes the European Unions continued commitment to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls worldwide. As digital technologies increasingly shape sustainable development outcomes, more needs to be done to address the persistent digital gender divide.

The GSMA, specifically representing the European Mobile Network Operators involved in identity services in this instance, welcomes the European Business Wallet initiative and its participation in doing business simply and digitally in the EU. We recommend that specific attention is paid to security and privacy requirements for the European Business Wallet.

Connect Europe and the GSMA welcome the opportunity to comment on the European Commission draft Delegated Act developing a common EU scheme for rating the sustainability of data centres, based on Article 33(3) of the Energy Efficiency Directive 2023/1791, and simplifying the reporting scheme that was introduced by Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1364.

Fraudsters have become more sophisticated, more coordinated and more capable of exploiting digital channels at scale, often outpacing anti-fraud defences and regulatory responses.
