GE Vernova welcomes the opportunity to provide its feedback on the initiative to review the EU taxonomy climate delegated act to update and simplify the technical screening criteria. GE Vernova strongly advocates for the adoption of favorable criteria for natural gas used to generate power and Small Modular Reactors (SMR) within the EU Taxonomy to support a balanced and pragmatic approach to the energy transition.

We welcome the opportunity to provide input on the proposed extension of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and wish to reaffirm our full support for the EUs climate objectives and efforts to maintain a level playing field for domestic industry. As it stands, the current CBAM regime is highly ambitious and introduces a complex new compliance landscape for EU industry.

GE Vernova welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the European Commission's call for evidence on the revised Climate Delegated Act of the EU Taxonomy and commends the Commission's efforts to simplify criteria, improve usability, and align the framework with updated EU legislation.
