Ladies and gentlemen, I run a small nursery without employees and have occasionally sent out orders to some EU countries, depending on the country from which one or more orders were received. It is not about 100 parcels per country per year, but about one to ten parcels per country per year.

Genetic technology is not necessary for plants. Through skilful selection breeding, similar results can be obtained naturally. The benefits of genetic technology are already imposive, but we are never aware of the effects of such changes in switches; perhaps irreversible. At present, genetic technology is needed to a greater or lesser extent for economic success.
