The Free Modem Alliance welcomes the opportunity to provide its feedback on the European Commissions proposal for a Digital Networks Act (DNA). While the initiative aims to promote further harmonisation, it fails to address the current issues related to terminal equipment freedom, despite the welldocumented fragmentation of the internal market in this area and the resulting uneven level of enduser protection.
