The EC should be given implementing powers to adopt regulations to set maximum emission limits and/or information/labelling requirements on the emissions. The EC should produce a working plan of products for which measures should be introduced.

The Belgian, federal Environmental product policy unit of the Federal Public Service (FPS) Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment does not support the proposed PEF methodology. The attached comments specifically focus on the proposed modelling of the energy mix.
This proposal completely removes removability criteria for the display assembly, even though it has to be provided to end-users. This is not logic. The repairability criteria for the back cover and display assembly should be identical to the criteria that apply for the battery if there is a dependency between these parts during disassembly.
