A future EU AI Strategy for the Cultural and Creative Sectors should, insofar as the film and audiovisual sector is concerned, pursue a clear overarching policy objective: incentivize the creation and production of compelling films and audiovisual works, secure new and skilled jobs, expand the talent pool and upskill existing contributors, whether in creative, technical or business functions.
