We welcome the Commission’s intention to revise the guidelines on state aid to airports and airlines. The previous guidelines primarily reflect the competitive situation of airlines. They do not take sufficient account of the fact that aerodromes are primarily infrastructures for mobility and connectivity, rather than for competition.
