The European Music Managers Alliance (EMMA) represents music managers and the artists they work with across Europe. We submit our attached joint letter, Artists and Songwriters Must Not Be Pressured into AI Deals Without Meaningful Consent, to highlight dangerous practices developing in the music sector and the urgent need for Commission action.
The European Music Managers Alliance represents music managers across Europe. Managers work directly with and represent artists, performers, songwriters and producers on rights, contracts, income, licensing, career development and the practical impact of new technologies. This gives managers direct evidence of whether copyright rules are working for creators in reality.
