Dear All, Etangs de France welcomes the European Commissions initiative to develop a framework for nature credits. We fully support the ambition to reward landowners, managers, and communities that safeguard biodiversity and ecosystem services. However, we note with concern that inland ponds (étangs) are not explicitly recognised in the roadmap, despite their exceptional ecological and socio-economic contributions.
