We support the development and implementation of bioenergy carbon capture and storage (BECCS) technologies and the inclusion of the subsequent carbon removals in the ETS.

The EU Heating and Cooling Strategy should explicitly commit to a gradual but definitive phase-out of fossil fuels in the sector along with the ending of new and already existing subsidies for fossil fuels.
