Counts here are a floor, never a total: they cover the 326 consultation files tracked so far (29,503 submissions, mostly 2025–26), so an organization's real filing history is larger, not smaller.
Who they are
Among the 1205 trade and business associations on this site, they rank #520 by legislative files engaged — a count of participation, not a measure of influence.

Their record over time
ESCA filed 3 positions between 6 May 2026 and 24 Jun 2026, across 3 of the 326 legislative files tracked here, attaching a full position paper 3 times.
What they argued
ESCA supports the Commission's objective of establishing a harmonised and proportionate framework for battery durability type-approval, building on international regulatory developments, including the latest amendments to UN Regulation No. 154 and UN Regulation No. 83.
ESCA welcomes the Commissions work to define the methods, tests and administrative requirements for type-approval of brake particle emissions of M1 and N1 vehicles. The draft implementing act is a necessary element of Euro 7 implementation and rightly seeks to align the EU administrative framework with internationally harmonised technical requirements, including UN Regulation No 179 on brake emissions.
